How to Report an Issue

WELCOME TO REPORTLAGOS!

Your reports are vital in helping us identify and address issues across our community. By taking a few moments to submit a detailed report, you contribute to a better Lagos for everyone.

This guide will walk you through the simple steps to submit a report.

WHEN TO REPORT?

You can report a variety of non-emergency issues affecting your environment and community, such as:

- Flooding

- Improper Waste Disposal / Illegal Dumping

- Power Outages or Electrical Faults (e.g., fallen poles, exposed wires)

- Bad Roads (potholes, damaged roads)

- Faulty Traffic Lights

- Pollution (air, water, noise)

- Broken Utility Pipes (water, sewage)

- Public Safety Hazards (e.g., open manholes, unsafe structures)

- Other Environmental or Community Concerns

Please note: For emergencies requiring immediate attention (like fire, serious accidents, or criminal activity), please contact the relevant emergency services directly (e.g., 112).

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT A REPORT

A little preparation can make your report much more effective:

Gather Information: Know the specific location and try to describe the issue clearly.
Take Photos/Videos (If Safe): Visual evidence is extremely helpful. If it's safe to do so, take clear photos or a short video of the issue. Ensure your images are well-lit and clearly show the problem.
